Hello, I'm Nikki, founder of The Acting Studio
With over 17 years of experience teaching Drama and Performing Arts in secondary schools, I have had the privilege of watching hundreds of young people discover their confidence, creativity, and love of performing. Throughout my career, I've seen first-hand that drama is about so much more than acting. It helps young people develop confidence, communication skills, teamwork, resilience, creativity, and the ability to express themselves—skills that benefit them both on and off the stage.
Creating The Acting Studio has been a dream come true. I wanted to create a place where children and young people feel safe, supported and inspired to be themselves while developing their acting skills. Whether a member dreams of performing professionally, wants to build confidence, make new friends or simply enjoys being creative, everyone is welcome.
We offer a range of opportunities for children and young people of all ages and abilities, including weekly acting classes, performance classes, LAMDA tuition and one-to-one coaching. From those taking their very first steps into drama to members preparing for auditions, performances or examinations, every class is designed to nurture talent, encourage creativity and help each individual grow in confidence.
Our sessions are engaging, challenging and, above all, fun. Every week, members explore new techniques through drama games, improvisation, script work, character development and performance. Along the way, they develop valuable life skills, discover their own unique strengths and build friendships that extend beyond the stage.
At The Acting Studio, I believe every young person has something special to offer. My goal is to create a welcoming community where every member feels valued, encouraged and inspired to reach their full potential—not just as a performer, but as a confident, creative individual.

PERFORMANCE CLASSES
Across 10 dynamic weeks, our performers will rehearse and create a full-scale production, developing advanced skills in acting, voice, movement, and stagecraft. Each session challenges students to explore characters, build confidence, and work as an ensemble, all while having fun and growing as performers.
The term culminates in a show-stopping final performance where every actor’s hard work and creativity shine under the lights!
TEEN CLASSES
Each week, young actors dive into challenging scripts and exciting improvisation, developing their confidence, creativity, and stage presence. They’ll explore character work, storytelling, and teamwork while learning to think on their feet and perform with authenticity.
Students regularly perform within sessions, gaining valuable experience in front of others and building confidence every step of the way.
Beyond the stage, they become part of a supportive, friendly community, making lasting friendships and growing together in an atmosphere that celebrates individuality, collaboration, and fun.
